Filtering, Sorting and Search

Array supports filtering and sorting on collection and search pages.

Enable Collection Filtering

  1. Open the collection template in the theme editor.
  2. Open Collection page.
  3. Enable Filtering.
  4. Save.

Filters are managed by Shopify Search & Discovery. If filters do not appear, review your filter setup in that app.

Enable Sorting

  1. Open the collection or search template.
  2. Enable Sorting.
  3. Save.

Search Page

The search page includes settings for:

  • Enable filtering: Shows filters on search results when filters are configured in Shopify Search & Discovery.
  • Enable sorting: Shows sorting on search results.
  • Results per page: Controls how many results appear before pagination.
  • Columns on desktop: Controls desktop result grid columns.
  • Color scheme: Controls the search results page color treatment.
  • Product image ratio: Controls product result image shape.
  • Show secondary image on hover: Shows a second image where available.
  • Show vendor: Shows product vendor.
  • Show product rating: Shows ratings where rating metafields exist.
  • Show add to cart button: Adds purchase controls to product results.
  • Enable quick view: Enables quick view where supported.
  • Columns on mobile: Controls mobile result grid columns.

Spacing is controlled using the shared padding settings. See Section Spacing and Padding.
