Showcase Products and Collections

Showcase content is one of Array’s main features.

Create a Showcase Product

1. Go to Products in Shopify admin.
2. Open or create a product.
3. Add the product tag:

display:showcase

1. Add product images and content.
2. Add custom metafields if using product images, file downloads, or the Product Showcase section’s product meta table.
3. Save.

Create a Showcase Collection

1. Go to Products > Collections.
2. Create or open a collection.
3. Add your showcase products.
4. In the theme template setting, choose the showcase collection template.
5. Save.

Important Behavior

Products tagged display:showcase   are hidden from normal collection grids. This keeps showcase entries separate from standard shop products.

Showcase Product Settings

The product template includes showcase settings for:

• Showcase image ratio: Controls the shape of showcase media. Use Square for a consistent project grid, Portrait for taller visual work, or Adapt when images should keep their natural proportions.
• Desktop slider height: Controls the showcase slider height on desktop.
• Desktop slider height unit: Chooses the unit used for desktop height. Use pixels for fixed visual control.
• Mobile slider height: Controls the showcase slider height on mobile.
• Mobile slider height unit: Chooses the unit used for mobile height.
• Show enquiry button: Shows or hides the enquiry button. Enable this when showcase products are not meant to be purchased directly and customers should enquire instead.
• Enquiry button text: Button label. Example: Enquire now  , Request details  , or Contact us  .

Showcase Product Blocks

Products tagged display:showcase   use the main Product section’s showcase layout. In that automatic showcase layout, the visible content comes from the Title and Description blocks, plus the Product section’s showcase image slider and enquiry button settings.

If you want a fuller project-style layout with meta data, extra text, tabs, custom liquid, product images, or file downloads, add the separate Product Showcase section to the product template.

The Product Showcase section supports these blocks:

• Title: Shows the showcase product title. Settings let you show vendor and breadcrumb.
• Description: Shows the product description from Shopify admin.
• Product meta table: Displays selected custom metafields in a structured table, useful for project details such as year, material, client, location, or category.
• Text: Adds custom rich text to the showcase page.
• Divider: Adds separation between blocks.
• Collapsible tab: Adds expandable content with heading, content, and open-by-default setting.
• Custom liquid: Adds custom code or app snippets.
• App block: Adds app-provided content.
• Product images: Displays images from custom.product_images  .
• File download: Displays a download link from custom.pdf_download  .

Product Meta Table Block

The Product meta table block displays selected custom metafields in a table.

Settings:

• Metafield keys: Comma-separated list of custom metafield keys to display. Add only the key names, not the namespace.

Example:

year, category, material

The keys refer to product metafields in the custom   namespace.
