Product Recommendations

Array supports complementary products and related products.

Complementary Products

Complementary products appear as a product block. Add the Complementary products block to the product page, then configure recommendations in Shopify.

Steps:

  1. Open the product template.
  2. Open the Product section.
  3. Add the Complementary products block.
  4. Add a heading.
  5. Configure complementary products in Shopify.
  6. Save.

Related products appear in the Related Products section on the product template.

Configure Related Products

  1. Open the product template.
  2. Open Related Products.
  3. Enable Show related products.
  4. Add a heading.
  5. Set number of products to show.
  6. Configure product card settings.
  7. Save.

If recommendations do not appear, Shopify may not have enough product data yet or recommendations may not be configured.

  • Show related products: Turns the related products section on or off.
  • Heading: Section heading. Example: You may also like , Related pieces , or Complete the room .
  • Heading tag: Sets the HTML heading level.
  • Number of products to show: Controls how many recommended products display. Use fewer products for a focused recommendation area.
  • Product image ratio: Controls product card image shape.
  • Show secondary image on hover: Shows a second image where available.
  • Show vendor: Shows product vendor. Enable this for multi-brand stores.
  • Show rating: Shows product rating when review metafields exist.
  • Columns on mobile: Controls how many products appear per row on mobile.

Spacing is controlled using the shared padding settings. See Section Spacing and Padding.
