Sections overview

Sections are the building blocks used to create pages in Array. You can add, remove, reorder, and customize sections from the Shopify theme editor.

Add a Section

1. Go to Online Store > Themes > Customize.
2. Open the template or page you want to edit.
3. Click Add section.
4. Choose a section.
5. Configure the section settings and blocks.
6. Save.

Color Schemes

Many sections support color schemes. Set global schemes in Theme settings > Colors, then assign them to sections.

Sections With Blocks

Some sections use blocks. Blocks are smaller pieces of content inside a section, such as slides in a Slider, testimonials in Testimonials, or columns in Multicolumn.

To add a block:

1. Open the section in the theme editor.
2. Click Add block.
3. Choose the block type.
4. Add the block content.
5. Drag blocks to reorder them.
6. Save.
