Footer

The Footer appears at the bottom of the storefront and can include menus, newsletter signup, text, images, app blocks, localization selectors, payment icons, and policy links.

  1. Open Footer in the theme editor.
  2. Choose a color scheme.
  3. Enable or disable display options.
  4. Add footer blocks.
  5. Adjust spacing.
  6. Save.
  • Show follow us icons: Displays social icons using the links entered in Theme settings > Social media. Use this if social channels are part of your customer journey.
  • Show newsletter signup: Enables the footer Subscribe link and newsletter drawer when a Newsletter block is added. Use this if you want a persistent signup prompt on every page without placing a full form directly in the footer.
  • Show currency selector: Displays the currency selector when multiple currencies are available through Shopify Markets.
  • Show language selector: Displays the language selector when multiple languages are available.
  • Show payment icons: Displays payment method icons supported by your store.
  • Show policy links: Displays links to Shopify policy pages, such as refund policy, privacy policy, terms of service, and shipping policy.

Footer spacing includes top margin, top padding, bottom padding, and mobile padding. Use top margin when the footer needs separation from the final page section. Use padding to control the space inside the footer itself.

Available footer blocks include:

  • Menu List: Adds a menu column. Use this for footer navigation such as Shop, Support, About, Policies, or Stockists.
  • Newsletter: Adds newsletter-specific heading and text for the footer newsletter drawer. Use this with Show newsletter signup when you want to explain what subscribers receive.
  • Text: Adds rich text content. Use it for store details, showroom hours, contact information, or a short brand statement.
  • Image: Adds an image, optional link, and width control. Use it for a logo, certification badge, partner mark, or small brand asset.
  • App block: Adds app-provided footer content when supported by an installed app.

Use Menu List blocks for footer navigation, Text blocks for store information, Image blocks for badges or brand marks, and Newsletter blocks for signup prompts.

  • Heading: The title shown above the menu, such as Shop  , Help  , or Company  .
  • Menu: The Shopify menu displayed in the block. Manage menus in Online Store > Navigation.

Newsletter Block Settings

  • Heading: The newsletter prompt, such as Join the list  .
  • Text: A short explanation of what customers will receive. Example: Occasional notes on launches, projects, and studio news.

Text Block Settings

  • Text: Rich text content shown in the footer. Keep this concise; long footer text can make every page feel heavy.

Image Block Settings

  • Image: The uploaded image.
  • Link: Optional destination when the image is clicked.
  • Width: Controls the image display width. Use a smaller width for logos and badges.
